Currently, there is a lack of a centralized system to manage alumni records, track graduate achievements, and facilitate efficient communication between the Institute of Computer Science and its alumni. Existing alumni relations are mostly limited to university organizations, creating inefficiencies when organizing reunions, managing fundraising campaigns, and providing career networking opportunities.

ICSync was developed as a cloud-based platform with a responsive frontend, connected backend services, and centralized data storage. Its modular architecture supports alumni records, community interactions, communications, analytics, and secure administration through integrated APIs and role-based access.
Next.js provides server-side rendering and fast performance, with Tailwind CSS v4.0 and ShadCN/UI delivering a clean, accessible interface hosted on Vercel.
Chart.js powers visual alumni analytics, while jsPDF enables administrators to export statistical reports as PDFs.
Node.js 22.11.0 and Express.js run the backend on Render, while Firebase Firestore provides centralized records and real-time synchronization.
Firebase Storage manages file uploads, and OAuth 2.0 through Google Authentication provides secure, role-based access control.
RESTful APIs connect the Next.js client with cloud-native backend services for reliable communication across profiles, jobs, events, donations, and reports.
By centralizing alumni records and communications, ICSync makes reunions, fundraising campaigns, and career networking significantly more efficient for the institute and its graduates. Its architecture is designed to support multiple concurrent users while maintaining fast profile updates, searches, and data queries. Comprehensive analytics and automated reporting give administrators a centralized view of alumni engagement, donation trends, and career trajectories.
